These are all good reflections, Jason, and thank you for the time. I would have to agree that the brewer/distributor challenge may be overplayed in today's market. I certainly have access to a lot of beers I couldn't taste three years ago and the major brand networks are very, very aggressive in attracting craftbrewers.
Thanks, Daniel

I'm intrigued by the relevance of the movie...a few 'minor' things have happened in the industry since she began the project ie, MillerCoors and AB-InBev come to mind. Were any of these industry changes covered or are they ignored due to the timing?

Additionally, the opening of the distribution system on the A-B side of the equation as has been evidenced in Tennessee and Texas along with many other states makes me question how accurate the story is that will be told. Admittedly at one point the distribution system did have a dysfunctional element (AB exclusivity) today, I believe that the market is resolving that issue.

Overall, I think the distributors vs. craft brewer issue has been overplayed. Many distributors have realized that adding craft brews to their trucks along with the biggest selling brands provides tremendous return on the relatively small investment needed to support these newer breweries and brands. In rare examples markets are restricted however, my experience is that a number of brewers don't want to work within the confines of the current system because it is not in their maximum financial interest, and let's be honest at the end of the day brewers and distributors are in this business to make money along with having a passion for beer.

Overall I'm interested to see how the story line plays out.
