These are tricky issues, especially palate fatigue. However, in this case virtually all of the beers would not be available to me until next year. I do remember working with Michael Jackson at the GABF and helping him get access to hard to find beers. The crowds, the smells, the distractions are all just too much not to mention rapid palate fatigue. If last year's festival was any indication, you will not find much subtlety in the big, dark beers here. They will kick your butt and you will love it.
